Chad Beeman

Current job: Adult Probation Officer with Maricopa County Adult probation. I supervise a caseload of military veterans who are also on probation. I am involved with developing and creating policy for the Veteran's Court, a new specialized court with the superior court in Maricopa county which started in January of 2011. The court was designed to give extra opportunities to those who have served our country but are having legal problems. This helps connect them to services through the Veteran's affairs department to address their, substance abuse, mental health, and legal needs.

Education status/ current program: Currently in the Masters program for criminal justice at ASU downtown. Graduating Fall 2011.

Accomplishments since graduation: since receiving my undergraduate degree in psychology from ASU West in May 2009, I have been promoted twice with the Adult probation Department.

Life changes since undergraduate degree: I have one daughter who will be 2 in Dec 2011.
